Alain Hertay teaches in the Haute École de la Province de Liége in Belgium. His classes explore the relationship between cinema and popular music. He is the author of publications on Éric Rohmer (Comedies et proverbes, Céfal 1998) and Nick Drake (Fives Leaves Left, co-written with Alain Pire, Densité 2007), and he has published articles on cinema and music in La Furia Umana, Culturopoing, Senses of Cinema and Flashback Magazine.
