Entrevues 2024: an invitation to travel
The chic and relaxed women filmed by Agnès Varda in her first documentary Du côté de la côte, under the sun of the Riviera, among the palm trees and the sparkling colors of the Mediterranean will be our guides for this 39th edition.
Gaze fixed on the horizon where the sky and the sea merge, the elegant vacationer of the French Riviera will accompany us between ardor for life and melancholy, in an endless or forever lost summer, from the dazzling blue of the map blindingly white postal mail of a journey that is now impossible... This is also the theme of the year's Transversale programming, dedicated to Tourism and travel clichés: a veritable world tour in around twenty films across the entire History of cinema to question our relationship to others and elsewhere.
