Day is Done
Zhang Dalei
A family on a rare visit to their grandfather. They cook lunch, set the table and sit down to eat together. While one of them dozes off and the other leafs through an old photo album, the day goes by. The sadness of parting is in the air.

Diplômé de l'Université d’Etat d’Etudes Cinématographiques de Saint-Pétersbourg, Zhang Dalei commence sa carrière de réalisateur avec le long métrage The Summer is Gone (2016), qui remporte le Prix FIPRESCI. Son deuxième long métrage, Stars Await Us (2020) est sélectionné pour la 3e édition du Festival de FIlm de Pingyao, et la 24e édition des Black Nights, le Festival du Film de Tallinn.
