Luc Moullet – who taps into the great burlesque tradition of filmmaking – will be our guest of honour for this 38th edition!
A freebooter of a director, and a prominent figure in the French New Wave, Luc Moullet is also a film critic, a mountaineer, a producer, a cyclist, a documentary filmmaker, and a comedian. He remains to this day the most secretive French director and has directed over 40 films – short films, features, narrative and documentaries, spanning the whole gamut from caustic comedies to drama – always toying with rules, style and budget!
