La Transversale - Tourism, travel clichés

The tourist in cinema, at times, clown, dreamer, exiled, in search of escape, meaning or rest, but also voyeur or destroyer crucially questions our relationship to the world and to the Other.

This year, La Transversale offers you a journey through the history of cinema under the sign of travel and its clichés with films by Roberto Rossellini, Agnès Varda, Jacques Rozier, Wes Anderson, Elia Suleiman, Bruno Podalydès... The scheduled films will be available to discover soon!
