Tony Gatlif

Tony Gatlif, guest of La Fabbrica, will explore the making of his libertarian and rebellious cinema.

Two unreleased movies will be presented: La Terre au ventre, his first feature film, set against the backdrop of the Algerian War, which was considered lost since its theatrical release in 1978, and Corre, gitano, a Spanish film with the flamenco dancer Mario Maya (1981).

WW1, kaleidoscope

The “Cinema and History Encounters” will focus on the Great War through the prism of (inter)national perspectives, as it will question the French, German, American, Russian, and Italian points of view regarding the 1914-18 conflict.

Put to the test

SOUND Experience

Every year, Entrevues welcomes 400 high school students to follow “Put to the Test”, the programme of which is elaborated in consonance with a film from the curriculum of the Cinema Major in the French Baccalaureate. This year: The Beat That My Heart Skipped (De battre mon cœur s’est arrêté), by Jacques Audiard.

Double Feature Kiyoshi Kurosawa

Following the success of the Double Feature formula, initiated last year with John Carpenter, it is now Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s turn to participate in the game and reveal the sources of his inspiration and cinephilia. With each of his films, Kiyoshi Kurosawa associated a movie chosen from his personal Pantheon.
Kurosawa-san will come to Belfort to present his latest film, Seventh Code, for its French première, as well as a Double Feature screening.
