Filming institutions

Starting with Frederick Wiseman's film High School, a journey through the filmmaker's filmography, from his first feature (Titicut Follies, 1967) to the present day, taking an overview of major American institutions: schools, social centers, psychiatric hospitals... 

In response to Wiseman's trilogy, this program will present three other documentaries that have also filmed the human caught up in the workings of institutions.

Entrevues continues online

The 39th edition of Entrevues ended on November 24. If the lights have gone out on the big screen, the adventure continues online.

40th edition dates

The 40th edition of Entrevues will take place from November 17 to 23, 2025. 

The submissions for the International Competition will open from May 5th to July 31st.

Tribute to Laurent Achard

Laurent Achard was a brilliant director and a dear friend of the festival. A whole week in the company of his characters’ unforgettable gaze, young boys who crave love, having witnessed the unspeakable.
