The One+One Jury
37th edition: the One+One jury
The One+One Jury awards a film of the International Competition for its remarkable and innovative musical spirit.
Multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer Léonie Pernet released her latest album, Le Cirque de la consolation in 2021, further deconstructing, densifying French pop music and blending it with other cultures. Never shying away from mixing genres and finding new ventures, she organised techno-queer-primitive parties, and, more recently, composed music for film (Simon Filliot’s short film Heart of Gold) and TV (H24, a series broadcasted on Arte).
After graduating from the sound department of La Fémis, Jean-Charles Bastion founded MER/NOIR studio in Paris, specializing in sound editing, mixing and composing soundtracks. Recently, he composed the soundtracks for The World After Us, White Building and Roaring 20’s. He also makes music outside of films, as part of UZHUR, for instance, an experimental improvisation duo.
Thibault Deboaisne is a music supervisor, founder of the boutique agency Sound Division, founding member of the Association des Superviseurs Musicaux. He’s supervised about 100 projects, feature films, TV shows and fashion shows. He debuted in the music industry, working for record companies such as Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Music France where he collaborated with artists such as Fiona Apple, France Gall, Johnny Hallyday, Françoise Hardy, Jacno, Lhasa, Oasis, Primal Scream or Véronique Sanson.
